President Donald Trump has revealed whether Russia or Ukraine has been easier to deal with amid peace negotiations – and warned of World War III again.

Trump divulged the country while speaking in the Oval Office today, exactly one week after his meeting there with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky descended into a shouting match that ended with the visitor being asked to leave the White House.

A reporter on Friday asked Trump if he thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin still seeks peace, in light of new bombings on Ukraine.

‘I believe him, I believe him,’ said Trump. ‘I think we’re doing really well with Russia.’

The US president added that Russia is ‘bombing the hell out of Ukraine’.

‘I’m finding it more difficult frankly to deal with Ukraine and they don’t have the cards,’ he said.

‘It may be easier dealing with Russia.’

Trump’s answer fell in line with his remarks and actions in recent peace talks to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

In the fiery Oval Office meeting last week, Trump told Zelensky ‘you don’t have the cards right now’ and said he was ‘not acting at all thankful’ that the US is trying to help settle the war with Russia.

Shortly afterward, Trump decided to halt US aid to Ukraine. Zelensky quickly said he ‘stands ready to work under Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts’ and sign a deal to provide his country’s rare minerals for security guarantees.

On Friday morning, Trump pressured Russia too, by threatening sanctions.

‘Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely “pounding” Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering large scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia until a Cease Fire and FINAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON PEACE IS REACHED,’ wrote Trump on his Truth Social platform.

‘To Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now, before it is too late. Thank you!!!’

Asked about the post and why he isn’t sending US air defense forces to deter Russia, Trump said of Ukraine: ‘I have to know that they want to settle.’

‘I don’t know that they want to settle. If they don’t want to settle, we’re out of there because we want them to settle,’ he said, reiterating his stance on Ukraine.

‘This thing could end up in a World War III if we don’t get it settled. This could really end up in a World War III.’
